Therefore, your works council has the right to seek support from external expertise on many topics. Experts, according to the law, are individuals who convey the missing technical or legal knowledge to the works council or draw conclusions, so that the works council can adequately fulfill its assigned tasks. Our consultations are subject to fees. The consulting services of G.IBS mbH must be initiated by works councils and employee representatives and submitted to the employer or department manager for approval. The process is summarized for you in the following section.
The path to consultation
The following steps lead to a consultation by G.IBS mbH:

- Your committee addresses G.IBS mbH with its questions, problems, or regulatory needs
- A preliminary clarification meeting will be arranged promptly.
- G.IBS mbH will prepare an offer for you outlining the consulting services, the necessary time, duration, and costs.
- Your committee decides on this offer and forwards it to the employer for approval according to § 80 (3) WCA or for acknowledgment according to § 111 WCA.
- After the offer is confirmed, the consultation is conducted in close coordination with the works council or staff council.
